A powerful illustration of mind body and emotion
Spirit and Energy

You might be wondering about how your mind, body, and emotions are related to your training. Additionally, you may have heard of the mind-body connection when working out through a podcast, live show or simply hearing it from a friend. In fact, you might think it is just a cliché. However, there is more to it than that.

Not many people truly understand the mind and body connection when training and why your emotions are extremely important during your workout sessions. Many gym enthusiast or podcast fitness gurus may encourage you to, "get off the couch and get in the gym" type of motivational comments, etc. I total appreciate the motivational intent of these people. However, there is a lot more to it than that if you truly want to start a fitness journey and stay on the path to a successful change of life for the better. Hence, a better and healthier lifestyle.

Spirit - Your Mind Body & Emotions

A successful body builder
Controlled aggression is required

Ladies and gentlemen, whether we accept it or not, all things around us are energy. Energy consumes energy and all things were created through thought, belief, emotions, kinetic or vocal energy, or both. It is your thought process that paves the way towards your success in everything you do and want. Unfortunately, a good portion of us, were never taught this truth and never learned that we are a special people.

There is much to go over regarding this truth, but for now, I will explain this truth as it relates to your working out. Because the trigger to all our actions are emotions, it is safe to say that "the results you manifest based on those emotions leads straight to the cause, which are your thoughts and beliefs of what you are experiencing at the moment." Your consciousness takes the hit, your subconscious processes the information for a reaction. Good, bad or indifferent, there will be a reaction. For each action there is always a reaction, this is important to know.

If you decide to step into the gym or simply go out and start the simplest of exercises, it is wise to remember the feeling that got you to do so in the first place. There is always a why attached to your emotions, because it is what triggered your actions. To make a long story short, there always must be controlled aggression behind your workouts and an extreme focus on what you are doing, how you are doing it, how you feel, and mentally picture your end results of what you are believing in. Just simply be that person you believe to be. However, remember that Rome wasn’t built in one day, keep at it and evolve with knowledge, belief, control aggression and simply be one with yourself and the energies around you. You are special and never forget that.
